Thank you for making Mortimer Consulting a part of your financial plan. We look forward to serving your needs! To help guide our relationship, we ask that you review the information below.

Section 1: Scheduling Appointments

To schedule an appointment, please use the link at the end of your check out experience or the link emailed to you after purchasing your coaching package. You can also contact us (See Section14).We understand that your time and resources are extremely valuable, so we ask that you honor your scheduled appointment time. If you need to reschedule, just let us know in advance. Appointments are typically conducted via video conference, but can also be done over the phone if necessary.

Section 2: Spousal Participation

If you are married, both spouses should participate and commit to all scheduled coaching sessions. If your spouse is not available for an appointment, we can Reschedule.

Section 3: Price

The prices are indicated in dollars, excluding any relevant taxes and payment processing fees. The price of coaching packages can be changed at any time. However, the price applied to an order will be the one stated at the time of the order.

Section 4: Your information

If you wish to place an Order for Products available on the Service, You may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your order including, without limitation, your name, your email, your phone number, your credit card number, the expiration date of your credit card, your billing address, and your shipping information.

You represent and warrant that: (i) You have the legal right to use any credit or debit card(s) or other payment method(s) in connection with any Order; and that (ii) the information You supply to us is true, correct and complete.

By submitting such information, you grant us the right to provide the information to payment processing third parties for purposes of facilitating the completion of your order.

Section 5: Payment

Payment is due immediately on the date of the order.

Payment can be made through various payment methods we have available, such as Visa, MasterCard, Affinity Card, American Express cards or online payment methods (PayPal, for example).

Payment cards (credit cards or debit cards) are subject to validation checks and authorization by Your card issuer. If we do not receive the required authorization, we will not be able to continue with coaching.

Note: Please do not go into debt for personal finance coaching services.

Section 6: Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds for our coaching services as we are a fee-for-time service. We promise that you will get out of the coaching session what you put into it. If you subscribe to a monthly plan, you are responsible for scheduling your monthly sessions. If you do not schedule a session in a month, you will still be charged. If you are unable to schedule, please contact us prior to the end of the month and we will do our best to accommodate all reasonable requests at our sole discretion. Monthly coaching plans include your session as well as communication throughout the month depending on your package and service level. Therefore, once a month begins, you are not eligible for a refund for that month. See “Modifying Service Plans” below.

Section 7: Coaching Services

Coaching sessions are scheduled for 1 hour. Follow up sessions, if applicable, are scheduled for 15-20 min. We assume the responsibility of understanding and evaluating your current needs, goals, and resources in order to develop a strategy to meet your objectives. However, in order to make your plan work, we expect that you will come prepared to take the steps necessary to succeed, take full responsibility for your plan and its implementation, and contact us when you need additional advice and direction. Group Coaching typically has between 10-20 people. However, group size is subject to change based on availability. If purchasing a group coaching package that includes a complimentary 1-on-1 coaching session, the complimentary session will be available to you after the last session of your membership term, but before your membership renews. (For example, if you book a 6 month group membership package, the complimentary 1-on-1 coaching session will become available on or immediately following month 6.)

Section 8: Paperwork

You are asked to complete preliminary paperwork to better prepare your coach. We ask that these forms be filled out to the very best of your knowledge and ability prior to your scheduled appointment. You assume all responsibility for providing accurate and complete materials, documentation, and facts upon which our coaching may be based. Required paperwork will be emailed to you upon the purchase of your coaching package.

Section 9: Rescheduling Appointments

If you need to reschedule your session for any reason, please give us at least 24-hour advance notice. Notification may be made through phone call, text message, or email.

Section 10: Modifying Service Plans

If you would like to modify your service plan, please communicate that during your next scheduled session. If you are enrolled in a monthly plan, you must complete your next session and communicate your desire during the meeting so that we can plan accordingly.

Section 11: Confidentiality Policy

We will keep completely confidential all matters discussed, facts revealed, and the nature and content of all documents you provide to us or we generate. We will reveal such matters only upon receipt of a written authorization and clear, verifiable instructions from you telling us exactly what we may reveal. If you are enrolled in group coaching, please keep in mind that we cannot control what other group members divulge. Please be careful of what you reveal to the group as the dissemination of information is out of our control. We do not guarantee confidentiality of anything revealed to other group coaching members.

Section 12: Disclaimer

Coaching is designed to give you accurate and authoritative information with regard to the subject matter covered. We are not authorized to render legal, accounting, or other professional advice, and communications during coaching sessions should not be construed as such advice. Since your situation is fact dependent, you must additionally seek the services of an appropriate licensed legal, accounting, or investment service.

Section 13: Changes to these Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, in whole or in part, please stop using the website and the Service.
